🕸️ Wire Atlas — 1,400 Years of Qur'anic Connection Sciences

Every line drawn between two stars in Galaksi Safa must mean something. This atlas catalogs every wiring system scholars have built across the Qur'an since revelation — who discovered it, what it connects, how certain it is, and how it renders in the galaxy. Assembled by OrcaRTX, 2026-08-12. Status: v1 — the map of the maps. Each wire gets its own dataset expedition in later parts.

01The Two Order Lanes

The two ways to walk the entire galaxy — Syah's "dua lane". Not edges between stars: two different spiral arms the same 114 stars can be arranged along.

SOLID

Lane 1 — Mushaf Order ترتيب المصحف

Connects: All 114 surahs in canonical sequence — the order every printed mushaf follows.
Provenance: Tawqifī (fixed by the Prophet ﷺ per majority view); codified in the Uthmānī codex, ~650 CE. Fourteen centuries of unbroken use.
Data: In the pod already — it is our file numbering.

Galaxy render: the default spiral arm. Position along the arm = mushaf index. Already in the Galaksi build spec.

RIWAYAT

Lane 2 — Revelation Order ترتيب النزول

Connects: The same 114 stars re-ordered by when they came down — Makkah's cry to Madinah's law, 23 years unfolding.
Provenance: Lists transmitted from Ibn ʿAbbās and Jaʿfar as-Sādiq; consolidated in the standard Egyptian (Azhar) chronology printed in the 1924 King Fuʾād mushaf headers. Broad agreement on the skeleton; khilāf on individual placements. Western re-orderings exist (Nöldeke) — ACADEMIC, keep labeled and separate.
Data: Dataset exists openly (Tanzil.net metadata carries the Azhar chronology per surah). Needs one import + review.

Galaxy render: a toggle — the galaxy re-forms. Stars drift from mushaf spiral into the chronological arm, Makkī population igniting first, Madinah later. Watching 23 years of revelation reorganize the sky is the single biggest "gegar" moment this atlas offers. This is the knowledge Syah named: most people never had the means to see this lane. Now there is no limitation.

02Edge Systems — wires between specific ayat

RIWAYAT

Asbāb an-Nuzūl أسباب النزول — occasions of revelation

Connects: Ayah ↔ historical event / question / person that occasioned it. The wire Syah named first.
Discovered by: Collected from the sahābah; systematized by al-Wāhidī (d. 468H/1076, Asbāb an-Nuzūl) and as-Suyūtī (d. 911H/1505, Lubāb an-Nuqūl).
Certainty: Graded per narration — some sahīh, some weak. Each edge must carry its grading, exactly like our provenance chain carries its steps.
Data: Partially in the pod already — al-Baghawī's tafsir (served) embeds asbāb narrations. A dedicated structured dataset needs building (Part 2 expedition).

Galaxy render: tap an ayah → a memory flare: the event told in one line, source named. Wires between ayat revealed on the same occasion.

IJTIHAD

Munāsabāt علم المناسبات — the science of coherence

Connects: Why this surah follows that one; why this ayah sits beside that one. The deep logic of the mushaf order itself.
Discovered by: Practiced by ar-Rāzī (d. 606H); made a full system by al-Biqāʿī (d. 885H/1480) in Nazm ad-Durar — 22 volumes wiring the entire Qur'an end to end; as-Suyūtī's Tanāsuq ad-Durar.
Certainty: Scholarly derivation — luminous, but ijtihād. Serve with the scholar's name on every wire.
Data: Needs building — Nazm ad-Durar is not in our corpus yet. Candidate for a future corpus expedition (large).

Galaxy render: faint golden filaments between adjacent stars — the galaxy's connective tissue, visible when you zoom close.

SOLID

Mutashābih Lafzī متشابه اللفظ — twin verses

Connects: Ayat with identical or near-identical wording across different surahs — the memorizer's famous trap, and delight.
Discovered by: al-Kirmānī (d. ~505H) Asrār at-Tikrār; a whole classical genre for huffāz.
Certainty: SOLID — the text is the text. And fully computable: our corpus can regenerate every twin-pair mechanically and cross-check the classical lists.
Data: Computable from the pod today. Cheap expedition, high wow.

Galaxy render: twin stars shimmer in sync. For a memorizer this wire alone is worth the visit — every hafiz knows the pain of confusing twins; no tool has ever drawn them as a sky.

RIWAYAT

Nāsikh–Mansūkh الناسخ والمنسوخ — abrogation

Connects: Directed ayah → ayah: later ruling superseding earlier. The only directed classical wire.
Discovered by: an-Nahhās (d. 338H), Ibn al-Jawzī (d. 597H); counts range wildly — hundreds claimed early, ~20 in as-Suyūtī, 5 in Shāh Waliyyullāh's strict audit.
Certainty: Heavy khilāf. Sensitive — render only with the range of views attached, or hold for asatizah guidance first.
Data: Lists exist in classical works; needs a curated dataset with all three countings side by side.

Galaxy render (hold until asatizah nod): directed comet-trail between the pair, with the khilāf label visible on the wire itself.

IJTIHAD

Tafsīr al-Qur'ān bil-Qur'ān تفسير القرآن بالقرآن

Connects: Ayah ↔ ayah where one explains the other — the highest tafsir method in the classical hierarchy.
Discovered by: Method canonized by Ibn Kathīr's muqaddimah (d. 774H); executed as an entire tafsir by ash-Shinqītī (d. 1393H/1973) in Adwā' al-Bayān.
Data: Partially derivable from the pod — cross-ayah citations inside our served tafsir corpus can be mined into explicit edges.

Galaxy render: "this star answers that one" — a question-mark wire that resolves when you visit both ends.

03Constellations — named families of surahs

The classical tradition already named its constellations. We invent nothing here — we finally draw them.

These are free wins for Galaksi: hadith-anchored constellations, zero controversy, gorgeous to draw — az-Zahrāwān as two bright sisters, the Hawāmīm as a seven-star ridge. Phase-1 material.

05Modern Wires — 20th century to us, today

COMPUTED

Morphology & root network

Connects: Every word ↔ its root ↔ every other occurrence. ~77k words, ~1,650 roots.
Source: Quranic Arabic Corpus (Dukes, 2009–2011) — open dataset; classical roots via Muʿjam indexes (ʿAbd al-Bāqī, 1945).
Data: Dataset exists openly; import expedition, then infinite wires: "follow the word نور across the whole sky."

Galaxy render: pick a word in any ayah → every star containing its root glows. Language-independent — works for BM/EN/AR display alike.

IJTIHAD

Tafsīr Mawdūʿī — thematic constellations

Connects: Topic ↔ all its ayat (patience, mercy, prophets' arcs — Mūsā spans 30+ surahs).
Source: Modern discipline (framework: al-Farmāwī, 1976); our tadabbur layer-2 already carries per-segment themes with kitab citations.
Data: Partially in the pod — tadabbur-lite segments are theme-anchored; qisas arcs mineable from corpus.

Galaxy render: choose "Mūsā" → his story lights a path surah-to-surah in revelation order — narrative travel. Tadabbur-lite segments are the landing pads along it.

ACADEMIC

Ring composition / surah-pair symmetry

Source: Cuypers (Semitic rhetoric), Farrin — modern academic structural readings.
Ruling: Interesting, not served until asatizah opine. Kept in the atlas so we know it exists; kept out of the sky until cleared.

COMPUTED

Embedding similarity — the 2026 wire

Connects: Semantically near ayat/tafsir passages — the vectors already running Safa's own brain.
Source: Us. Our Qdrant collections, our provenance. The first new wire added to this science in our own hand.
Ruling: Serve as suggestion, never as ilmu — "machine noticed a resemblance" is its full and honest label.

Galaxy render: "stars that feel near" — a soft discovery layer, clearly badged COMPUTED.

Language rollout rides on top, not inside: prove BM → English → Arabic UI/text first (BM live; Arabic source text live; English = translation lane to open), then Mandarin and Tamil. The wires themselves are language-independent — that is their power.

Standing rule for every wire: the grade chip travels with the wire into the UI. A SOLID wire and an ACADEMIC wire must never look the same in the sky. This is provenance doctrine applied to knowledge itself — same discipline as the audio chain.
